Description

We have been placing a feeder, for the last 3 years, for the Hooded Orioles that migrate from Mexico. At the end of April, one of the 3 pairs that feed on our feeder started to build a nest between our sliding screen door and a roll down sun blind made with a loose weave. I have prevented the screen door from being moved as that would tear the nest apart, and we are now using another door so that we don’t disturb them too much. I have multiple videos and pictures of the male and femal feeding the chicks. This nests backs onto our family room, so the chicks are enjoying TV nightly
