It was a few weeks after the last snow, I went out to clean the side patio for the season . Imagine my surprise and delight to see the Mourning Dove with her two babies! As you can see she was keen to spot the perfect circle happening inside the extension cord left out from last fall , and so she built the latest look in mourning Dove housing ! Photo taken from a distance so as not to further disturb the happy family !
