Description

In the Southwestern United States, white-winged doves occasionally build nests on the arms of saguaro cactuses. This dove, however, chose a particularly prickly saguaro. A second cactus species, the prickly pear, is growing out of the saguaro at the nest site, making for a well-defended, but rather inconvenient, home.
