Description

This our front porch overhead (ceiling) light. It is well protected from weather and our nosy and lazy cats – dog too. They just seem to like watching the coming and goings of the birds. They are house finches, who seem quite fearless about where they build. Last spring while I was laid up for a while the built a nest in the nail pouch (nails and all) of my carpenters aprin. We keep the light out now, but ocassionally it gets turned on and does not seem to phase them one bit. They are good neighbors and seem to be very happy.
