Description

These sweet little pigeon chicks (aka “my babies”) were hatched and raised in a flower pot on my 11th-floor balcony the summer before last. They are two days old in this picture. I lost the use of my balcony for that summer, but I loved watching them grow and eventually fledge under the care of their loving parents. The pot was right in front of my sliding door, so it was like having a nest cam right in my living room!

Hope it’s okay I’m just entering this year—the rules didn’t say if the pics had to be from 2017.
