Description

Our deck had to be torn off when we exposed our basement to put in a garage in the basement. The door is elevated above the ground now a story and is on the first floor at the door when the deck was torn off and boarded up as we have not yet built another deck.

A beautiful Carolina Wren decided to come through the hole in the screen at our door and built her nest there between the screen and the door. She is not bothered by the dogs and/or the noise. She is laying her eggs as I write. I was hoping she would not get in the house when I opened the door to take the pictures. I work from home and my desk is by this door. I’ve really enjoyed watching her build the nest and tremendously enjoy her singing.
