Description

After considerable research, I believe this is the only place in the world where Osprey build nests on “Tufa Towers”, calcium carbonate formations up to 50 feet tall in a highly salinic lake with no fish. We call them typical Californians, they want to raise their kids in a nice, quiet, predator free place, but they have to commute! Some fly as far as 12 miles to lakes in Yosemite to bring back fish.
