Through our work at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, we join with communities and support their unique, local environmental conservation efforts to connect community, birds, and nature. We aspire to facilitate spaces where knowledge flows both ways by weaving together the perspectives and contributions of communities with those of Western science. Together, we seek to inspire each other while caring for birds and protecting all living organisms on the Earth. By building authentic, long-term partnerships based on trust, with committed organizations, we help amplify community-led conservation efforts and ensure their actions have a lasting impact.
