At the onset of their internships youth selected one of the Celebrate Urban Birds focal species through a fun raffle. Youth worked closely in a team (comprised of their mentor, family members, friends of their theater group, and Celebrate Urban Birds staff) for approximately one month. They all actively exchanged information, fun facts, videos, photos and much more through a Facebook group, emails, and in meetings.

We hope their brief messages will serve as an inspiration to other youth and people of all ages in their community. We know that through their work, they are promoting the appreciation of birds and nature in their urban neighborhood.
