Description

The local neighbourhood has lost a significant number of large conifers in the last few years. Earlier this year a cluster of a dozen or so mature conifers, maples and others were felled just at the start of nesting season, forcing this pair to adopt a human made platform for building.

When The Trees Came Down

Close up. A local pair of Northwestern crows took up in this very human location when a large number of nesting trees were felled earlier this spring. If you look closely you can see a parents beak angled upward at the front of the nest.
