Description

When we put our hanging ivy baskets out on the front porch for the season, cardinals made a nest in one of the pots within several days. Soon there were 2 eggs and now babies. We had wrens, sparrows, and finches nest in our hanging baskets before, but never cardinals.

We are both retired biologists and enjoy wildlife.
