I was looking through a bird field guide and saw a picture of a Western Grebe and her chicks so I decided to draw a picture first with a pencil and then with colored pencils of a Western Grebe and her two chicks.
AWARD WINNER: Youth RecognitionMother Western Grebe with her chicks on her back.
cute cute cute
What a fantastic drawing!
beautiful drawing Morgan.. I love the detail of the babies
Thank you! Sadly it still says I have ten votes even though other people have been voting.
I don’t know how come you’re not getting more votes even though people have liked your drawing.
Weird… I voted when it was at 10, it showed that the voting had gone to 11. Then I went back to look at the other entries and the vote was back to 10. It shows above that I “liked” it, but the vote is gone. I say this is rigged!
Very cute drawing, by the way.
Very cute, and well drawn, too!
I asked Karen to fix the problem and she did! It is at 17 votes and I am number 1 out of the top ten! Thank you sooo much for telling me about this contest Grandma! And thank you Karen!
I’m glad it was taken care of so the votes count now.
Keep up the good work Morgan. It’s great you love nature and birds as much as I do.
I hope you continue to draw and take photos of all of creatures great and small and learn as much as possible about them.
Thank you and I’m sure I will. I can’t believe I have so many votes! I am hoping to win a camera or an iPad! I got a book for Easter called “All Creatures Great and Small.” It is really good so far. I’m on chapter 8.
All Creatures Great and Small was one of your dad’s favorite books when he was young. He read all the James Herriot books, they’re great books.
Well done Miss Morgan!! <3 Love it <3
Lurvly, Morgan! Sure wish I could figure out how to vote for you — without FB it may not be possible.
Very nicely done. Good proportions. I think you should do one using water color and water color paper.
Finally told how I might vote, & have done so. Goody Luck Miss Morgan!
